Bushings and sleeves are typically used in hydraulics and machine tools. Bushings offer complete protection for soft, brittle materials. They also enhance the strength and rigidity of the assembly in which they are used. Secure alignment of components can be obtained through our bushings and sleeves.

Bushings and sleeves are machined through rigorous milling and turning techniques. Our fittings can be manufactured to extremely precise specifications; with tolerances of ± 0.0001 inches and surface finishes to 16 micro. Secondary services like broaching, grinding, heat treating, plating, tapping, thread rolling and tumbling are offered to enhance and improve all bushings and sleeves.

Precise dimensions are achieved through the use of our Tornos Swiss Automatic Screw Machines, Tornos and Citizen Swiss CNC Turning Machines. Also, we use Statistical Process Control (SPC) throughout the manufacturing process. All custom machines parts are available in diameters ranging from 0.005 to 1.00 inches and lengths ranging from 0.005 to 10.00 inches. Other specifications include tight tolerance values down to ± 0.0001 inches and surface finishes to 16 micro.

The pieces produced by extrusion of aluminum can be post-machined, or cut in different ways, using a CNC milling aluminum machining center, because extrusion often involves malleable, ductile, and machinable grades of aluminum, such as 6061 and 6063.
